Hayya Namaz
Hayya Namaz: Prayer & Qibla
Prayer times, the adhan and the Qibla in Bengali, English and Japanese. No ads, no account, no tracking. Your location never leaves your phone.
Hayya is a calm, simple prayer app. It shows the five daily prayers, sounds the adhan, points to the Qibla, and helps you learn the surahs you recite in namaz.
It was first made for one person: a mother who travels between Bangladesh, Japan and the United States. It is made for our mothers and fathers, and for anyone who wants a prayer app that is quiet, clear and respectful.
Private by design
- No ads, no account, no sign-up.
- No tracking, no analytics, no third-party SDKs.
- Your location is used only on your iPhone, to calculate prayer times and the Qibla. It is never sent anywhere.
- Your learning progress stays on your iPhone.
What Hayya does
- Today's five prayers and sunrise, the next prayer, and how long until it.
- Calculated the way most people do in the country you are in: Islamic Foundation Bangladesh (Karachi method, Hanafi Asr) in Bangladesh, ISNA in the United States, Muslim World League in Japan. You can change the method in Settings.
- On iOS 26 and later, the adhan can ring as an alarm, even when the phone is on silent or in a Focus. On earlier versions of iOS, each prayer arrives as a time-sensitive notification with the adhan.
- A clear arrow to the Kaaba. When you face the Qibla, it turns green and the phone gives a gentle buzz.
- 13 lessons: Al-Fatiha, eleven short surahs and Ayat al-Kursi, verse by verse, with the slow teaching recitation of Sheikh Mahmoud Khalil al-Husary.
- Bengali (বাংলা), English and Japanese, with large text. Everything works without internet, and after a flight Hayya updates the times by itself.
Prayer times are calculated. For exact times, follow your local mosque. Hayya is free. It has no in-app purchases.
