Hayya Namaz — Privacy Policy
Effective: October 14, 2026
Hayya Namaz ("Hayya") is made by Enso Labs LLC. This page explains, in plain words, what information the app uses and how.
In short
- We don't collect any of your data. The app sends nothing to us or to anyone else.
- No account, no ads, no tracking, no analytics, no crash reporting, no third-party SDKs.
- Your location is used only on your iPhone and never leaves it.
- The app needs no internet to work, and it makes no network connections of its own.
What is used on your iPhone
Location. Hayya uses your location to calculate prayer times and the Qibla direction, with "While Using the App" permission only. It takes one location reading when you open the app, and never while the app is closed. All the calculation happens on your phone. The country you are in is worked out from your phone's time zone; your coordinates are never sent to a server to look up a place name (no reverse geocoding). The app works with Approximate Location too. Your last known location (coordinates, time zone and country) is kept on your phone so the app starts quickly next time.
Compass. The Qibla arrow uses your phone's compass, only while the Qibla screen is open. The reading is not stored or sent.
Notifications and alarms. Prayer notifications and adhan alarms are created on your phone and delivered by iOS at the right time. No server and no push notifications are involved. You can turn them off at any time in the app's Settings or in iPhone Settings.
Your preferences and learning progress. Your language, text size, calculation method, notification choices and Quran learning progress (verses and letters learned, review dates, practice days, milestones) are stored only on your phone. Settings → "Start over" erases your learning progress. Deleting the app deletes all of this.
The app does not use the microphone, camera, photos, contacts or health data.
Sharing
When you finish a surah you can send a picture card to your family. It goes only through the iPhone share sheet, to the app and the people you choose. Hayya itself sends nothing. The card contains no location or other personal information.
Links
The About section has a link to the source of the adhan recording. Tapping it opens your web browser, where that website's own privacy policy applies.
What Apple does
You download the app from the App Store, under Apple's privacy policy. If you have turned on "Share With App Developers" in iPhone Settings, Apple may give us anonymous crash reports and aggregate usage statistics. Apple collects these, not the app, and they don't identify you. If you back up your iPhone (to iCloud or a computer), Hayya's preferences and progress may be included in that backup, like any other app's data. Apple handles backups; we can't see them.
Children
Hayya collects no one's data, including children's.
If you email us
If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply and to fix problems in the app. We don't sell or share them. Ask us to delete them and we will.
This website
This website uses no cookies, no scripts and no analytics, and it loads nothing from other sites. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which, like any web host, may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) for security and operation. We don't use them to identify or track anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will post the new version here with a new date. If the app ever started collecting data, that would be stated here and in the App Store privacy details before it happened.
